After receiving your diagnosis and adjusting to your “new normal,” one thing becomes incredibly clear: there will be good days and bad days. Treatment and recovery are not one positive trend line up, with each day a little better than the last. There will be set backs. There will be glorious days when you feel almost back to your old self, and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel – followed by days where you can’t get out of bed. The best part about doing something crafty is that you can invite people over to join you, or you can share your creations with friends and family. Plus, it keeps you moving, thinking, and just might take your mind off of everything for a little while. Win win win.
