A woman from Friday Harbor, Wash. with terminal cancer wants to ensure the safety of her three companions after she passes.

Kathleen Zuidema, admitting that the cancer she is fighting will eventually kill her, posted on Facebook, seeking a safe and loving home for her three dogs, affectionately named, “The Aussie Posse.” The dogs are a “package deal,” Zuidema wrote. “It is a huge thing to ask of one person but the thought of them being separated is more than l can bear.”

Autumn Moon, 11, Moka Luka, 4 1/2, and Finnegan, 4, are fixed and love attention. “Someone who can be with them alot would be my wish,” Zuidema wrote. “They are wonderful to be with the love they give and joy that they bring me every day has been unbelievable.”

Zuidema’s initial facebook post went viral and was reposted over 8,000 times. While her rounds of chemotherapy have begun, the Aussie Posse has yet to find a home.
