Since the number of giant pandas began noticeably dwindling in the 1960s, researchers have worked hard to find a way to restore this peaceful creature’s population.
Thanks to the hard work of conservationists and researchers, the number of giant pandas in existence is on the rise!
Because of places like the Hetaoping Wolong Panda Center, perhaps soon we’ll be able to release these rare and beautiful bears back into the wild en masse.
But for now, many conservation centers a simply doing their best to help keep the existing pandas safe, healthy, and provide homes that will promote a natural habitat so these wonderfully adorable animals can start repopulating on their own.
