Brad Pitt Let 90-Year-Old Tenant Live On His Property Rent-Free

Many of us appreciate when we have company, but we also appreciate when they go home again. That doesn’t seem to be the case with Brad Pitt, who welcomed an extended visitor for as long as he lived.

According to PEOPLE, it happened when Pitt purchased a home to add to his estate. John, who sold him the home, was already in his 90s at the time.

In a rather unusual agreement, Brad Pitt allowed the man to stay in the home without paying rent until he died. He was 105 years old at the time.

As PEOPLE reported, Peterson said that there were about 20 homes near the edge of the property. Brad Pitt would buy one of those homes when it came up for sale, and that happened to be John’s home.

When he bought that home, he decided to let him stay.

Peterson spoke about how Pitt was very kind to the husband. His wife had passed away, and he let the man stay there until he died without paying a penny.

Since that time, Brad Pitt has sold the property. According to Home & Gardens, it sold for about $40 million.
