This Clever Video Works Around Censorship Laws to Raise Some Serious Awareness For Breast Cancer

An Argentinian charity has come up with a clever video to send its message about breast cancer while also offering a pointed rebuke to social media sites about their double standards on nudity. Social media sites censor female nipples even in nonsexual content but allow topless male bodies. Argentinan group MACMA got around the issue by documenting a breast cancer self-exam on a male model – cheekily referring to the campaign as “ManBoobs4Boobs.”

While it makes for humorous watching, this video also reveals how removing the stigma from a nude female body can potentially encourage more women to do breast self-exams, which are critical for early detection of breast cancer.
