When you have nurses like these, even something as arduous as chemotherapy doesn’t seem all that terrible. Three-year-old Millie has nerve cell cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy at the New Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow. To make her day better, her nurses had a sing-along of the Disney song “Let it Go” from Frozen. They even brought along props and costumes, like fake snow and sunglasses! Millie’s parents are now raising funds for further treatment available only in the USA.

Children with cancer often display fortitude that rivals that of adults, yet they yearn for the same things that other kids do. Having a day full of laughter, costumes, and song is probably just what Millie needed. Never underestimate the power of fun!

Watch Millie in the video below, and then check out six-year-old Mable Took, who is fighting like a superhero against leukemia!

So this didn’t quite go as I had pictured in my head but we all had fun and as always Millie is showing chemo won’t bring her down!!⛄️❄️I must thank the lovely girls from the night shift last night in schiehallion for being good sports and making Millie’s day!. You are all amazing!!
