Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin is going above and beyond the call of duty! Paying homage to her mother, who is a breast cancer survivor, Franklin has painted her police cruiser bright pink with phrases on the sides such as “Unlocking a cure!” and “Arresting breast cancer!” — just in time for breast cancer awareness month in October. Sheriff Franklin’s cruiser will be raising awareness at various public events during that month, and Franklin is encouraging other Sheriffs from Alabama to get on board with her crusade.
