DeAngelo Williams, running back for the Pittsburg Steelers, is showing us all what it means to be a true champion.

Williams lost his mother to breast cancer in 2014. She was only 53 years old at the time of her passing. This tragic event has spurned Williams to create The DeAngelo Williams Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting against breast cancer.

In honor of his mother, Williams and the Foundation are donating 53 mammograms for each of her years alive to hospitals in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh.
