EXO’s Happy Birthday Song Is One of the Most Unforgettable Gifts for Their Fans

One of the best moments for the official fandom is the EXO’s singing of the Happy Birthday song to celebrate the foundation day of their official fanbase.
Really, whose heart wouldn’t get touched by the energetic and jubilant performance of the EXO members that mirrored the boy band’s love for their greatest supporters?
This month, the video gets globally shared on social media again as EXO-Ls say cheers to their 8th anniversary. Last year, Chanyeol had also uploaded another special music video to further sweeten the occasion for their fans, even though he was on national military duty.
Since their debut in 2012, EXO has been dominating the music scene with flawless rendition of various genres such as pop, hip-hop, R&B, EDM, Electropop, and Dance-pop, which the group changes and mixes at times but with excellent results.
But, in spite of all the prestigious awards they have garnered over the years, there are still some aspirations that EXO members want to fulfill.
Baekhyun, who has also starred in several Korean dramas To The Beautiful You, EXO Next Door, and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, wants to make his mark as a versatile artist. “I don’t want to be known as a singer of a certain genre. I really want to challenge myself with anything from hip-hop to country. Everything! Recently, I’m actually challenging the dance genre.”
Meanwhile, Chanyeol, who has also appeared in the Korean dramas such as To The Beautiful You, Royal Villa, EXO Next Door, Missing Nine, and Memories of the Alhambra, dreams of jazz hip-hop: “I like hip-hop, but I don’t think authentic hip-hop is really suitable for me. Rather, I want to challenge myself with jazz hip-hop. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved jazz hip-hop artists like Nujabes, Beenzino, and Jazzyfact.”
And now, with the return of EXO leader Suho and Chen from mandatory military service, fans are looking forward to the group’s comeback this year. EXO now has 7 active members, with Baekhyun and Chanyeol nearing the completion of their military duty.
