Giuliana Rancic to Speak at Albuquerque Breast Education Seminar

E! TV network personality Giuliana Rancic had a public breast cancer journey. She documented some of her experiences on the Style Network's "Giuliana and Bill" show, where she starred with her husband Bill Rancic. Now the celebrities are set to be the keynote speakers at the Nancy Floyd Haworth Foundation's 24th Celebration of Hope event, according to the Albuquerque Journal.

The seminar and luncheon are set to take place on April 12 in Albuquerque.

"It's been great to be able to use my experiences for good," Rancic told the source. "If you can impart a message that could change a life or save a life, it's pretty incredible."

Another important message that Rancic wanted to share with women is that a breast cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence. Additionally, she wants people to know that regular mammograms, which allows tumors to be discovered early, can help women beat the disease.

The Celebration of Hope event will begin with an educational seminar that is free to the public and called "Updates and Controversies in Breast Cancer." It will be hosted by doctors and experts from the University of New Maryland's Cancer Center. The Rancics will speak at a luncheon that follows the panel.
