Grandpa’s Reaction To Birthday Surprise Moves People To Tears

Get ready to cry! Since its founding, TikTok has brought us many viral videos. Most have been entertaining and humorous skits.

However, there’s another side to TikTok that is flooded with so many wholesome and sweet videos that are actual tearjerkers.

We all know that getting older is an inescapable fact of life. One minute we’re young and in our prime, the next we’re entering the winter season of our age.

Now, I’m only 32 but I’ve definitely started to notice that I see birthdays differently. Whereas when I was younger it was more about the excitement and presents, now, birthdays for me are more like a reflection.

I’m another year older, another year wiser, and another year grateful for where I’m at and where I’m going.

If this is me in my 30s, I can only imagine that birthdays probably hit a lot differently when you’re in your 80s. I’m sure the gratitude aspect skyrockets after a certain age. But regardless, the video below is definitely one that will have you reaching for the tissue box as it’s one grandpa’s reaction to his family’s surprise on his 85th birthday.

In the video, the grandpa is out with his family. What he wasn’t expecting, was for them to surprise him with a cake. His reaction is so sweet as he gets very, very excited at seeing his cake and then almost immediately after he gets a little teary-eyed. It definitely pulls at the viewers’ heartstrings!
