Husband Surprises Blind Wife By Secretley Learning To Do Makeup For Her
A man in Baltimore, Maryland is proving that true love and commitment to someone really isn’t a thing of the past – even when times get tough.
40-year-old Darrick Coe has been dealing with caring for his sick wife who recently lost partial vision from her ailments. While many husbands might get discouraged by the situation, Coe took it upon himself to help his wife and even went above and beyond to surprise her!
According to the New York Post, Coe said he would “do anything” for his wife. He said, “I said it in my vows. For better or for worse, through sickness and in health.”
Coe, who goes by the TikTok handle @3_dstylez, shared in a video that his wife has diabetes which resulted in kidney failure. From all of that, she developed a third nerve palsy of the eye, which led to blindness in that eye.
Coe said her lack of vision caused her issues with daily tasks, like walking straight, driving, and other various things. He said, “I could help with everything but makeup.” After hearing her frustration at not being able to put makeup on though, Coe decided to learn the craft himself so he could help her.
In a follow-up video, he shared the sweet deed with the caption:
“Me: imma do your make up for dinner tonight babe Her: boy stop playing wit me Me: for real I got you…I know what I’m doing kinda lol Her: boy stop playing wit me we gotta go soon Me: babe just trust me”
He added, “long story short my daughter asked me to do her make up for her bday in MIAMI lol…. I’ll doing whatever it takes to make sure my wife is comfort… even if it means going out of my comfort zone.”

While his video only received a small amount of attention on TikTok, it wasn’t long before one of his friends posted it to Twitter and it was viewed more than 2.5 million times.
