Laughter Is The Best Medicine

Christine was in the prime of her life; happy, healthy, active. Then she felt a lump — a painful one. After going through testing and discussing her options, she was faced with the option of a double mastectomy. Her oldest daughter was with her at her appointment, and immediately told her, “Get ’em both off and get new boobs!”

When it came time to shave her head, Christine threw a party. “It was ridiculous, and silly, and we had a blast,” Christine says. “Laughter is the best medicine.”
