Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer at 40

Michele Hyra’s doctor found four lumps in her armpits and ordered an immediate mammogram. Tragically, hospital bureaucracy kept Michele waiting two weeks for an appointment, despite her best efforts to get in sooner. When she finally had the mammogram, she was told to stay for an MRI — which showed that Stage 4 metastatic cancer had already spread throughout her body. Michele was given 11 months to live.

Would you give up your appointment if another woman desperately needed it? Watch Michele’s story, and take some inspiration from her amazing spirit.
