Metastatic breast cancer is cancer that has spread from the breast to additional places in the body. Many people are unaware of this type of cancer. Joani, the outreach chair and coordinator of MBCN (Metastatic Breast Cancer Network), wants to send a positive message. “I’d like to send a message of realistic hope to patients living with metastatic breast cancer. It is possible to live a connected, empowered, important life even while you are living with this disease. ”
