GreaterGood is announcing the release of new, mobile-friendly versions of our famous Click-To-Give websites. Visitors come every day to click a brightly colored button, which generates a donation to charitable projects associated with each cause site – free. The updated sites are easy to use on desktop computers, tablets, and phones, and have been released on nine different cause sites: including: The Hunger Site, The Breast Cancer Site, The Animal Rescue Site, The Veterans Site, The Autism Site, The Alzheimer’s Site, The Diabetes Site, The Literacy Site, and The Rainforest Site. Here’s a sneak peek!
The new sites focus heavily on the causes they raise funds for. Site fans should find all of the features they know and love, though the sleek, modern look and new navigation might take a little getting used to. Here’s a list of tips to quickly find what you’re looking for:
The Click-To-Give Button
This is one feature that’s easier to find than ever before, nestled in a large, responsive header right near the top.
You’ll find click total updates on the homepage in the button section, in the “Thank You!” section on the page after you click, and under Our Work in the top navigation (click on “Click Results”).
Regular clickers might panic a bit at first when they see the tabs have disappeared from the top of the page, but fear not! All nine causes are accessible from the “Thank You” section after you click, with a handy check-mark to show you what you’ve already done. The responsive sites load much faster, so it’s super-easy to go from one to the next quickly!
The Best Stories
Stories from both the blogs and those submitted by site fans will still be featured in a large slider on the homepage, along with sales and special offers from the store. There are also responsive teasers to blog stories scattered on the site. To go directly to blogs and fan stories (on the sites where they’re available), you can click the Take Action section in the top navigation. If you’re a site fan, you can also share your story in the Inspiring Story section!
Shop for the Cause
What longtime clickers know is that shopping is another powerful way to support their favorite causes. Great deals will be featured in the slider and across the site. There’s also a “Shop to Give” link in the top navigation, and on desktop there’s a handy list of store categories on the left. Every single purchase benefits the charitable programs associated with the site!
Petitions for Change
Petitions are an audience favorite – a free way to send a message to policy makers, with the hope of changing the world for the better. The updated petitions pages are mobile-friendly and much easier to use, and are accessible from the Take Action section in the top navigation.
Charitable Donations & Impact
There is a new section called “Our Favorite Projects” on the sites that shares some of the amazing projects donors can support through the Gifts That Give More™ program. You can see other projects by clicking “Gifts That Give More™” under the Shop to Give section in the top navigation. For an example of what we can do together, click Our Work in the top navigation, and select the “Our Work” link – there are cause-specific stories straight from our charitable partners there. These amazing results are only possible with your support!
Please take some time to check out the new Click-To-Give websites. They’re worth a look, and hopefully will continue to fund worthwhile charitable projects for generations to come!
