The iconic P.F. Chang’s warrior horse, an 11-foot statue representing the original statue from the Forbidden City in China that sits outside the Chinese restaurant chain, has gotten a makeover in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. More than 300 of the horses have been painted entirely pink, as seen in the time lapse video on the company’s website. P.F. Chang’s will donate $1 for every sushi roll sold in October to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Take a selfie with the pink horse and post it to social media with the hashtag #PaintPFChangsPink and the company will donate more. You don’t even have to eat there to get in on the action, just stop by for a selfie.
Each horse has been decorated differently.The hashtag shows quite the variety, from light pink horses with hot pink hand prints to sparkly pink horses with feathered boas, all wearing signs showcasing the hashtag and the reason behind the campaign.
