When Shipaila took Stinger in, she brought him to her own vet and discovered even more horrible news. Stinger not only had an allergic reaction to the stings, but he also was severely underweight and had scabies, a highly contagious skin disease.

Despite everything he’s been through, he has been such an affectionate pup. “He’s been a gentle, sweet boy, the entire time,” Shipaila told Huffington Post. “Even in pain all he’s wanted to do is put his head in my lap and kiss me.”
