Lola is amazing and so loving.

In 2019 when I was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer, Lola did not leave my side; she was especially close to me after my chemotherapy treatments and after my mastectomy.

She was close to my husband, too. He passed away in January, and Lola and I are even closer. She licks my tears when I cry, missing my husband, and sleeps in my lap and next to me in bed.

She follows me around the house all the time, not letting me be alone for any length of time. She knows when I’m not feeling well, especially after my, now, immunotherapy treatments.

I read out loud to her sometimes and she seems to listen. Having Lola is like having a therapy cat. She is comforting, understanding and loving. My life would definitely be very empty without Lola. I’m very lucky and grateful to have her in my life.
